you have made me again
given me a spectrum
and a new lease on life...

you have made me
into a humourist
so you could laugh...

you have chistled me
with your eyes
thus making me handsome...

you have given me sensitivity
so i could understand
the magic of your affection...

you have given me sustenance
with your recipes of hope
thus making me optimistic...

you have made me honest
with your staunch belief in me
and have essentially sustained me...

you have looked at me
from a different mirror than mine
with an image far better...

the most important thing
you have given me with your love
is the way  to rediscover myself...

for years i had always felt
i needed alterations as a person...

but you took me off the clothing rack
saying i was just tailor-made for you...

and i have only words of gratitude
in the lyrical moments such as these
